I never let her join a troop until this year. According to her, she wasn't allowed to be a girl scout because, "she has too many sisters for her mom to get out of the car in order to walk me into the meetings." She makes a valid point. Unloading and reloading 4 kids more than twice a day does make me cranky. (Well, unless Target's having a sale.) The truth is there was just NO WAY I would have ever let her go to sleep away camp until this year. Going to camp is a big part of scouts and I knew she would want to go and I would be a mess. I think I might be able to let her go this summer. Key word being, might. However, being a chaperone could be part of the plan. Funny I know, but I'm not kidding.
Support your local girl scouts and buy some yummy cookies!!!

Now that looks like the cutest Santa I have ever seen!!
Good luck with the cookie sales and the camping.....I dread the day Sarah asks to sign up for Girl Scouts....camping is just not my thing....and I also would have a hard time sending her without me.
Have a great week!!

I absolutely love that! "Mommy can't get out of the car." That's like this kid at church who told us a few days ago (when we were in the preschool volunteering) "Mommy and Daddy are cranky this morning." I LOVE IT! Mommy is cranky a lot in our house. :)

I will be waiting for the day when you let her go away to overnight camp.... Landon would be fine, you on the other hand, Well not so much. You do know that chaperones can't take their other (3) children with them either. LOL
Your favorite Sister Kitty
I will buy some from Landon. Send me an email. You know we love cookies here. That's a meal, right? LET THAT CHILD GO TO CAMP BY HERSELF MOM!!!!!!!!;)

Yippee Skippee!!!
Good luck with the overnight camp-out! I am dreading those days too.
My neighbors little girl is about to start selling them and I am soooooo excited!
Santa has the cutest helper!
I remember when GS cookies were sold door to door. I'm happy that our local grocers let them sell outside their stores. I'm afraid our type of camping is at a hotel.
Have fun with the cookie sale. I'll be sure to pick up a few boxes from our GS troop.
Sweet Wishes,
Sara
What a cutie!
I am with you, the thought of my girl going off to camp would have me in fits.
